Methodology

Where the tags come from

VRHub is an independent observer catalog for PlayStation VR2. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Base title metadata (names, release dates, descriptions, covers, Store star ratings) syncs from the PlayStation Store GraphQL catalog (PS VR2 category) via offline ingest. Optional IGDB/RAWG enrichment remains available. The public site reads the catalog through a runtime API (`/api/v1/games`) so web and future mobile clients share one network contract.

VR-specific fields - comfort bands, locomotion options, vignette / horizon lock, native Hz vs reprojection, DFR, headset rumble, adaptive triggers, and peripheral support - are assembled from community registries (including public r/PSVR specs sheets) and reviewer comfort notes. Tags are curated; treat them as guidance, not lab measurements.

Live regional pricing and account features are intentionally out of this MVP. Share catalog URLs with filters intact - every active constraint is stored in the query string.
